Render Check
The Render Check page allows publishers to preview and validate how advertisements render within a specific placement.
This page provides tools for reviewing placement variants, inspecting creatives that have served on the placement, and previewing how advertisements appear within the ad unit.
🧭 Navigation
At the top of the page is a breadcrumb navigation bar.
The breadcrumb allows you to navigate through the placement hierarchy:
Placements > Placement Name > Render Check
This makes it easy to return to either the placement details page or the full placements list.
🔎 Page Overview
At the top of the page, the main heading displays Render Check.
Below the heading is a description of the page:
Preview and validate placement rendering across different variants and creatives.
The main content area contains three tabs:
- Overview
- Creatives
- Gallery
Each tab provides a different way to inspect how advertisements render within the placement.
📑 Overview Tab
The Overview tab provides a visual and technical overview of the placement and its rendering configuration.
🧩 Placement Variations
At the top of the page is the Placement Variations section.
This section displays the placement variants that may exist for the ad unit.
Examples of variants may include:
- Light mode / dark mode
- Desktop / mobile rendering
- Other rendering contexts depending on the placement configuration
This section also displays the size of the ad unit associated with the placement.
👀 Example Rendering
Below the placement variations is an example rendering of the ad unit.
This preview shows how an advertisement may appear within the placement using sample ad creative.
The preview is intended to provide a visual reference for how ads are displayed within the placement.
📏 Rendering Data
The Rendering Data section provides technical information about the placement rendering configuration.
This includes:
- Width
- Height
- Aspect Ratio
These values describe the dimensions of the ad unit used for the placement.
ℹ️ Variant Information
The Variant Information section displays metadata related to the placement variant.
Currently this includes:
- Placement ID
This information helps identify the specific placement associated with the rendering configuration.
🎨 Creatives Tab
The Creatives tab displays a table of creatives that have appeared on the placement.
This table allows publishers to inspect creative assets associated with the placement.
📊 Creatives Table
The creatives table includes several table controls:
- Column visibility adjustments
- Filtering options
- CSV export
- Print view
The table does not currently include a search function.
Pagination controls and row count settings are available at the bottom of the table.
🧾 Creative Table Columns
The creatives table includes the following columns:
Actions Provides access to additional creative details.
Creative ID The internal identifier for the creative.
Campaign ID The campaign associated with the creative.
Title Creative title provided by the advertiser, when applicable.
Subtitle Creative subtitle provided by the advertiser, when applicable.
Tags Tags associated with the creative.
Creative titles, subtitles, and tags are typically provided by advertisers during campaign setup.
🔎 Creative Details Panel
Selecting View More Details in the actions column opens a slide-out details panel.
This panel displays additional information about the creative, including:
- External ID
- Content ID
- Media URL (the image asset used in the advertisement)
- Landing Page
- Media Preview
- Creative Tags
The media preview displays the creative image associated with the advertisement.
🖼 Gallery Tab
The Gallery tab provides a visual overview of creatives that have appeared within the placement.
🎞 Creative Preview Gallery
At the top of the gallery is the Creative Preview Gallery section.
This section displays:
- All creatives from all placement variants
- The total number of creatives currently visible
🔍 Creative Search
A search bar is available at the top of the gallery.
Users can search creatives using several attributes, most commonly:
- Creative title
- Creative metadata
Currently, the system does not extract text embedded within display ad images.
This means text that appears directly within the ad creative image cannot yet be searched. Support for this capability may be added in future updates.
🖼 Creative Grid
Below the search bar is a scrollable gallery of creative previews.
Each preview displays an advertisement that has appeared within the placement.
This gallery allows publishers to visually inspect the types of creatives running within the placement.
