Click issues

If clicks are not redirecting to the correct ad landing page in your newsletter, please follow the troubleshooting steps below.

This can be caused by a number of factors including viewing the email on multiple devices/accounts at the same time or using a distribution email list.

Verify the following:

  • You are not using a distribution email list when sending and testing emails
  • You are not opening the email on multiple email clients/devices/browsers at the same time
  • You are not testing the URLs through a checking/verification service. These services may not correctly handle our email monetization service and could show different image and click URLs in the page information (this is normal, not an indication that anything is broken)

If you are still having issues after verifying the points above, reach out to your account manager and provide the following:

  1. A forward of the email where you are seeing the issue
  2. A screenshot of the ad and landing page URL
  3. An approximate date and time of when the incorrect redirect took place
  4. Any additional information that can help with the investigation such as your email service provider (ESP), your process for testing emails, and any other email addresses, devices, or services you use to test emails
